Community Table
The Main Street Farmers Market offers Washington area non-profit organizations the opportunity to promote themselves and their activities at the Market. If you wish to participate, we will provide you with a location near the Pavilion and the entrance to the Market. We can also provide a card table and a large umbrella-canopy for protection from the sun. We will also announce your participation in our newsletter, sent to nearly 1000 email addresses every week.
There are a few practical matters and a few minor restrictions. The Market is held every Thursday, from May 12th through October 27th, 3:00 to 6:00 pm. You will need to supply any display items or literature that you’d like to use. You may set up at any time between 1:30 and 3:00 pm and the Market asks that you stay until 6:00 (barring bad weather). The Market has occasionally altered the location of the Community Table in order to better accommodate our vendors. We plan on placing the table and chairs on the sidewalk leading down to the Market, along the curb near the Pavilion. This seems to leave plenty of room for people to pass down the sidewalk, so long as the chairs are beside the table, not behind it. This is a very prominent spot.
The Market also asks that participating organizations use their appearance to promote their good works and that they not use their appearance to solicit funds, sell raffle tickets, or sell other items without prior approval.
If you would like to participate, please complete the market participation form. Thanks for your interest. Market Participation Request Form

Are Senior FMNP (Farmers Market Nutrition Program) coupons accepted?
Many of our vendors welcome FMNP payment vouchers. These vendors generally display a sign indicating their participation. FMNP offers coupons to low-income seniors to buy fresh, unprepared fruits, vegetables, and herbs at local farmers’ markets. Questions about that program can be answered here: Senior FMNP Fact Sheet. We understand that this program may lose its funding, but at least for now, existing FMNP coupons are being honored by the State and accepted by our participating vendors.
More at the Market
More at the Market offers a variety of activities ranging from face painting and projects for children to cooking demonstrations from local chefs. Visit the schedule to see what activities will be at the More at the Market tent each week.
