Yeast breads: Challah, French loaf, baguettes, batards, ciabatta, six-grain, honey whole wheat, organic whole wheat, oatmeal, Kalamata olive bread, jalapeno cheddar bread, olive-oil bread, cracked wheat, Tuscan, rye, pull-apart dinner rolls, sandwich buns, sun-dried tomato, cherry-chocolate yeast bread, and cranberry-walnut whole wheat. There may be a few I missed. For example, focaccia and pepperoni rolls are also available.
Sweet breads: Banana bread (six different versions including plain and those with nuts, raisins, and chocolate chips), zucchini bread (8 versions with pineapple, nuts, raisins, and chocolate chips), pumpkin bread (6 versions with nuts, raisins, and chocolate chips), apple pie bread, eggnog bread, cranberry-walnut bread, and salt rising bread. These change a little from week to week.
Pies: Apple, apple-crumble, sour cherry, lemon-meringue, coconut-meringue, key-lime and a wide range of other pies are now available.
Cookies: Pumpkin, sour cream, oatmeal-raisin, molasses, chocolate chip, peanut butter, ginger snaps, cowabunga, pie scrap, orange drop cookies, anise pizelles, and “chocolate gobs” (an oreo like confection with brownie-like cookies on the outside and cream on the inside), and pumpkin gobs (a soft cinnamon-pumpkin cookie filled with cream-cheese filling). Actually, there are many more, with some variation from week to week.
Additional Treats: You will also find brownies, pecan squares, scones, mini pies and danishes. If you are looking for a gluten free option then try the almond crescents. Biscotti are also abundant. We always have a large selection from approximately thirteen varieties.
Dried pastas: Handmade angel hair and a host of different handmade linguinis (including regular, spinach, beet, garlic, lemon, and black bean) are now on offer. Once Mia Cucina returns in mid-June these wonderful pasta options will be offered each and every week at the market.
